Info about the Safari Zones of Corbett National Park:
There are 5 safari zones in the Jim Corbett wildlife reserve famed as ‘Dhikala, Jhirna, Bijrani, Sonanadi and Domunda’.
  • Bijrani, Jhirna, Sonanadi and Domunda are jeep safari zones and are open from October.
  • Canter Safari Zone covers ‘Dhikala Zone’ and is open from 15th November.
Safari Timings of Safari:
  • The safari timings are fixed and set by forest officials for each zones.
  • The safari timings are divided into two schedules.
  • The schedules are divided into morning and afternoon.
  • The morning safari starts from 7 am and the afternoon safari starts from 2 pm.
The best time to visit Corbett is between months of October to March. April and May is best for wildlife trail. One should avoid monsoon and the wildlife park is closed
